Ray Russell Runs the Blue Ridge Parkway

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2016

Congratulations to Ray Russell, founder of great resource for local weather forecasts in the High Country, who on June 9th completed a month long run of the entire length of the Blue Ridge Parkway, from milepost 0 in Waynesboro, Virginia to the southern terminus at the Smoky Mountains 469 miles down the road.  He used the run as a celebration of the National Park Service and as an opportunity to raise money for the  Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation. You can read about and see pictures of his adventure at his blog relaywithray.
